Luigi grew up in Italy watching his uncle
create magnificent dishes for guests,
friends and family. With his family’s encouragement, Luigi obtained a degree from an esteemed culinary school in Rome.
When he arrived in Aspen in 1992, Luigi had already worked at several fine eateries throughout Europe and established his excellent reputation while working as the Executive Chef of Prego Ristorante in Irvine, California. His attention to detail and progressive philosophy regarding food, style, and atmosphere have helped to make the three restaurants into stellar successes.
If the divine creator has taken pains to give us delicious and exquisite things to eat, the least we can do is prepare them well and serve them with ceremony.
